Chris celebrated her 30th year practicing Audiology in May of 2017. Before coming to work for Metro Hearing, she worked in a healthcare clinic for 16 years and then spent the last 12 years in a nearby private practice. She earned her doctorate in Audiology at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2008 and her graduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas in 1987.
Chris was involved in multiple scholarly programs such as being an active Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society member and achieving recognition in the National Deans List. She is also a proud member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She has loved watching the continual advancements in hearing devices over her years as an audiologist and truly enjoys how well the new technologies connect people to their worlds of sound.
Chris was born on the Fort Knox Army Base in Kentucky, but her family moved to Arizona when she was only three months old. In 2014 she realized the life long dream of attending the Kentucky Derby and seeing the area where she was born. Besides moving for college and graduate school, she has lived in the Phoenix area her entire life.
