Streamer and ConnectLine
Streamer– The Heart of ConnectLine™
At the center of ConnectLine is Streamer, a small device connecting your hearing instruments to cell phones, ConnectLine Solutions and other communication and entertainment devices.
Streamer:
- Converts Bluetooth signals into the low current wireless signal used by your hearing instruments
- Improves phone communication by allowing you to hear the conversation with both ears
- Acts as a remote control for your hearing instruments
- Switches between home phone, cell phone, and TV without the need to reconnect
- Connects with up to 8 devices – including MP3 players, computers, etc.
- Is a well-designed, energy efficient system – while streaming, it does not increase the battery drain on the hearing instruments
- Is easy to use

So relax – hear the score, get the news, and miss fewer punch lines while pouring a cup of coffee from the kitchen. The ConnectLine TV adaptor has a range up to 30 ft. With Streamer, you adjust your preferred volume while others adjust the volume on the TV.
Actual size: 3.1 in
The ConnectLine TV box is connected to the audio output of almost any TV. The TV box sends the TV signal wirelessly to the Streamer with a range of up to 30 feet. There is no signal delay or echo.
ConnectLine Microphone
With ConnectLine Microphone, hearing instrument users can better participate and interact in some of life's most difficult communication situations
ConnectLine Microphone helps users enjoy clearer and more private conversation in crowded, noisy, or otherwise difficult listening environments. The discreet companion microphone is worn by the user's conversation partner and connects wirelessly to the Streamer, allowing the user to hear the other person's voice directly in their hearing instruments. This results in improved signal-to-noise ratios for difficult listening environments, such as cars, crowded rooms, and noisy restaurants.
How the Microphone Works:
The Microphone will transmit the speech from the Speaker directly to the Hearing instrument user.
Note: A Microphone will only work with one Streamer at a time.
ConnectLine FAQs
Streamer:
- How do I mute the hearing aid mics (Firmware 1.2 or later)?
Press the up or down arrow for at least two seconds. This is different from the previous firmware version.
TV Adapter:
- Can I have more than one Connect line TV box paired to my streamer?
No. The streamer has the ability to connect with only one TV Box.
- Can the TV Box connect with multiple streamers at one time?
No, the streamer and TV Box is a one to one relationship; one streamer to one TV box.
- Can more than one TV box connect to a TV at the same time?
Yes. More than one TV box can be connected to a single TV so multiple ConnectLine users can enjoy the television simultaneously. This must be done by using a splitter.
Phone Box:
- Can I have a phone box on every phone in my house?
Yes. The streamer can connect to multiple phone boxes. In order for this to work properly, each phone box must be out of range of the other phone boxes. If this is not the case, the streamer will remain connected to whichever phone box it was first connected to.
- Can two streamers connect to one phone box?
No. While the streamer can pair to many phone boxes, the phone box can only handle one pairing. Each streamer will need its own individual phone box.
- Will the phone box work with a multiline phone?
No. The phone system is what handles the multiline function coming through the phone line. The phone box only has the ability to connect to one line. Since this is the case when a multiline phone line is plugged into the phone box, only the primary line will be recognized by the box.
- Will the phone box work with my office system?
The phone box will only work with analog office systems. If the system in your office is a digital system the box will not work. The reason for this is that digital systems have larger connector heads on them and will not fit the box. Additionally, digital signals cannot be converted to analog signals.
- Will Vonage VOIP adapters work with the Phone Box?
Yes, you can set it up in this manner: Run phone cord from the wall into the Vonage adaptor line 1 or 2. From the Vonage adapter, run the phone line the black line port on the ConnectLine Phone Box. Then, run the phone line from the yellow port ConnectLine Phone Box into the phone.
